Aaaaagh!!! Stupid Hackers!

So I just had to delete my 'business' email account because someone hacked my account.  I don't know who or how, because I usually use that account for job applications, coworkers, and the like.  I was careful of who and where I gave that address to avoid getting bugs in business networks.  I didn't realize it got hacked until people in my contact list where sending my e-mail that were marked as replies.  They were people that I hadn't sent e-mails to in months.  Hmmm.  It makes me mad.  Grrrr!  The annoying part was getting all the addresses for my contacts transferred over to my new account. *sigh*  Que sera, sera.

So... Been a Long Time

All right, here's a few things that are happening in my life.  I ended up moving again, but that's okay.  I got to move in with a couple of gals I really love and we all get along really well.  I think it's because we say what's on our mind in a kind way, don't get mad by taking things personally, and we all pitch in with the chores. Nice arrangement.  Unfortunately part of my move included finding a new home for Loki.  I was very sad to see him go, but I think life will be better for him where he is.  He is now with a retired couple who already have a couple of cats.  The last e-mail I got from them let me know that he is loved and accepted.  When I met the couple I handed Loki to the lady and he just settled right into her chest.  It was bitter-sweet.

Hmmm.  Summer is almost over.  I've worked really hard to keep myself busy and not pine away for camp.  With the heat and monsoon coming on so hard, one of the things I miss the most about camp is the nice cool water.  The water at camp came from snow melt off, so it was 55-60 degrees coming out of the tap.  Amazing!  If I had the money I would go and visit camp, but I can't.  My money has to go elsewhere.  Namely a $500 car repair.  Beginning of June my oil light came on while I was on my way to work.  After work I checked the dipstick, and there was not a bit of oil on it.  I though, "Okay, I'll just run to the nearest gas station and grab a quart."  I poured the oil in the car and checked to see if I find where the leak was.  Well, a six inch puddle had formed in the amount of time it took me to pour the oil.  I went straight to the mechanic.  I though, "It's just an oil leak; it should only be $200-300."  WRONG!!  The oil had leaked all over the timing belt so that has to get replaced with only 20 thousand miles.  The amount of oil on makes impossible to continue using.  Grrr!!

So, thus far it has been both a good and a bed summer.  Que sera, sera.
